Asrar Arabic School – Arabic Made Simple

Who knew that learning Arabic can be easy and fun?

Asrar Arabic School started as a simple idea: to make learning Arabic accessible, personal, and fun for students everywhere in the world. Today, it’s a growing collective of teachers led by Dr. Maya Khalil, offering in person classes in Tripoli as well as online classes to learners from all levels and all backgrounds.

You often hear people saying: “Learning Arabic is so hard”. Others say “I tried learning Arabic but after taking some classes, I did not continue and now I forgot everything.”
We are here to prove these people wrong: Learning Arabic with us will be easy and fun at the same time. We promise.

Dr. Maya Khalil

Dr. Maya Khalil is the founder of Asrar Arabic School and its lead instructor. She holds a Ph.D. in Arabic Linguistics from the University of Saint Joseph in Beirut. Previously, Maya has worked as an Arabic professor at the Lebanese University and as an Arabic teacher in various language schools in Lebanon. In total, Maya has gathered more than 10 years of experience teaching Arabic to international students. Seeing different teaching styles in different settings, Maya finally decided to open her own language school in 2015. Specializing in both Modern Standard Arabic (Fusha) and the Levantine Dialect (Ammiya), Maya combines academic expertise with a practical, student-centered approach to help learners of all levels to learn at their own pace with their own specific goals.
